Introduction: Vermont Law School's Environmental Law Center is nationally recognized. We offer top-ranked graduate degree programs in environmental law and policy in a beautiful natural setting, including a Master of Studies in Environmental Law (M.S.E.L.) degree for environmental professionals and a joint J.D./M.S.E.L. degree for law students seeking an environmental concentration. The M.S.E.L. degree provides students with a solid understanding of environmental law, as well as legal research skills to be effective advocates. The curriculum includes over fifty courses in pollution prevention, environmental justice, land use, natural resources law, ocean and coastal law, international environmental law, and alternative dispute resolution.
